Torrevieja is among the most profitable beach towns to invest in. Currently, the area of Torrevieja is receiving new public investments that include the development of key projects related to the creation of new tourist resources, signposting of roads, environments and sites or the promotion of agrotourism, among other actions.

Torrevieja has a coastline of around 20 kilometres, divided into seven beaches and several coves. Playa de la Mata or Playa del Acequión are the longest and most popular ones. In addition, the Natural Park of the lagoons of Mata and Torrevieja is one of the main salt mines in Spain, with an average annual extraction of 600,000 tonnes, being one of the largest salt mines in Europe.
Torrevieja has a great profile as a sun and beach destination, in addition to other activities such as nature trails and urban routes.
With around 100,000 inhabitants, it is the fifth largest town in the Valencian Community. The number of Torrevieja residents increases considerably in summer, reaching almost 400,000 inhabitants. Only half of its population is Spanish and it is one of the most popular towns on the Costa Blanca for second homes thanks to the beaches, the salt industry and the nautical club.
According to the latest figures from the Notary Association of Valencia, Torrevieja is the town in the Valencian Community that sells the most properties to foreign buyers.
The real estate market will continue to grow on the Costa Blanca in 2020, offering more and more business opportunities for foreign investors.
